Emmy
1995 BMW M3
 |
|
Driver: Jim Koch
Number: 13
Class: BS/BSP (to be determined)
Jim's car is entering its second season of autocross competition.
After a respectable rookie season, Jim finally has a firm grasp on
the performance limits of the car.
Never the fastest M3
at the events, Emmy is nonetheless a fan favorite. This is
largely due to the Dukes of Hazzard style exercised in
driving her. |

Z
1985 Nissan
300ZX |
|
Driver: Charles Pippin
Co-Driver: Jeff Faulkner
Number: 30/130
Class: GS
Last year, this Nissan 300ZX was resurrected from an early grave.
Before Charles took on the task of restoring it to racing glory, the
Z sat quietly in its garage crypt for almost two years.
However, with just a little coaxing, Charles had it up and running.
Throughout the 2005
autocross season, Charles and his co-driver Jeff continued to make
small repairs when an issue was found. By today, there is no
weakest link. This car is as solid as the day is rolled off
the assembly line. |

Sally
1965 Ford Mustang
(retired)
 |
|
Driver: Charles Pippin
Mustang Sally was without a doubt the coolest car ever brought to
autocross. Forty years old at the time of the events, the car was
still solid and competitive. Additionally, this classic
received far more attention than any car present that day.
Midway through 2005,
Charles sold Sally. With many other car projects to keep him
busy, Charles didn't have the time to tinker with the Mustang.
Fond memories of Sally
will always remain... nothing says "old school" like a
three-speed manual transmission. |
